Description:
Not mentioning “L’Acquasanta”, the “Ogliata” is Rome’s most exclusive golf club with an intense social life and a First Class restaurant. On this course built in the classical style, water hazards are only two. All fairways run through the forest, in part along villas. The greens are defended by a fair number of sand obstacles. Still, the fine sand bunkers should not prevent you from succeeding in many a classical bunkershot. A 27 hole course, the venue of two World championships and Italy’s Open 2003, it is a true oasis hidden away in suburban Rome. Please note that tee times have to be booked in advance during the week… as well as on those very busy week-ends during the mid-July/ mid-September period. Tournament participation is only possible upon invitation by Club members. |

Directions:
From Rome city centre, take the Via Cassia until you reach the town of La Storta at Km 19.5. Drive in the private grounds of the Ogliata Residence, and follow the signs for the golf club. |
